The ravioli itself is gigantic, and is filled with a delicious mushroom paste, which are then smothered in the most amazing lobster sauce I have ever tasted. Lets take a good look at some of these menu items now, shall we? □ Mushroom RavioliĪlso called “the most addicting thing on the planet” by recent guest reviewer and relatively neutrally opinioned Victor, this particular dish is my absolute go-to meal over at the TRex Cafe. Check out this video review to get a better idea of what the meteor showers are like, as well as get a better look at the restaurant All of the dinosaurs sort of descend into chaos when this occurs, and children with certain sensory issues would definitely not enjoy it. These are LOUD and, honestly, can be pretty terrifying for younger children. One thing that parents should keep in mind if considering whether or not to take a child to this restaurant are the meteor showers, which happen every 15 minutes or so. Other restaurants on property that are Landry’s include the Rainforest Cafe and Yak and Yeti in Animal Kingdom. For a full list of benefits and to sign up for this club click here. It ALSO gets you priority seating, which is a MAJOR benefit, because the lines at this particular restaurant can be over 90 minutes at times. If you are planning on going to eat at T-Rex Cafe, I highly recommend that you join the Landry’s Select Club. The restaurant itself is divided into different themed “rooms ” one is like an ice cave, one is more of a tropical prehistoric forest, and the bar area is more of an ocean theme. It is an official off branching of the popular Build A Bear chain. There is even a little bone dig site in the front of the restaurant for the little ones to explore while you wait for a seat! Inside, you will find dinosaurs from land and sea, including a roaring Tyrannosaurus Rex, an adorable family of Woolly Mammoths, and a gigantic octopus like thing whose true identity is unknown to me personally BUT HEY his tentacles move up and down so that’s cool right? There is also aa “Build A Dino” store located in the giftshop, where kids can choose and stuff their own dinosaur. Located between Paddlefish and the Lego store in the Marketplace area of Disney Springs, T-Rex Cafe is like a cross between Animal Kingdom’s Dinoland and the Rainforest Cafe. Today, we are going to head back a couple of million years to Disney Springs and get some prehistoric eats at the T-Rex Cafe!
